                                    GOD

Looking at all the deceits, injustice, and violence,

I ask myself where God is, who has created this world,

And left us here to face all the uncertainties and mishappening,

All tensions engulf us, and we keep drowning in it,

Lust rules us more than love; desires decree us more than justice.

If God is the omnipotent, Almighty, why does not He stop all these,

Is His one sign not enough for the world to stop and justice to prevail?

At that point, I heard an inner voice communicating to me,

If everything was perfect, then how would we learn?

If every heart was pristine clear, then why would you be humans?

Would you not be in the category of angels?

If achieving everything was so easy, then would you value those things?

If God would nag at everything, then would we beg to Him?

If everything were easy, then would this life be a test?
